Lead single ‘Fatal Wounds’ showcases the band’s wrecking-ball musicality, opening with blast beats that hit like a Mack truck before locking into FRIGID’s signature Midwest stomp. The track is capped by a concise, ripping solo that nods to the genre’s formative era without overstaying its welcome.
Formed in October 2024, FRIGID features longtime collaborators Justin Robinson (drums/vocals), Ben Tufts (guitar/vocals), and Billy Pouch (bass). Despite their recent formation, the band has already carved out space in the Chicagoland metal scene, sharing stages with Necrot, Dead Heat, Killing Addiction, and Cemetery Filth.
